There are three ways — instantly, retroactively, and accumulatively.

Instantly — if we are working on a fear, you will know instantly that it has gone. With a fear of flying, for example, you'll be able to get on a plane and fly straight away.

Retroactively — you can look back over a period of time and recognise you don't think, feel, act, or respond like you used to.

Accumulatively — all the individual changes you experience add together, creating a newfound way of being.
